Jazz Posters

I´m fascinated by the combination of image and text. It´s like merging two different ways of expression: the abstract, symbolic content of words and the recognizable statement of a picture. Blended right they bring out a message with poetic lightness and a visual punch which may stop you for a few seconds - absorb the message and forget the poster, ´cause that´s the fate of most posters: seen, forgotten and glued over the next day by the next advertisement. These fictional posters are my attempts in this challenging genre.
